President's Message

Today, business women have the privilege and the responsibility to make choices that few women before us even considered. We can choose to excel in any field of business, we can freely articulate our accomplishments, and we can choose to be lifelong learners and leaders. At ABWA we are about women helping women in their pursuit of learning and success.

With that said, I'd like to celebrate a year of accomplishments for the ABWA Chicagoland Express Network.

Our newly built board is comprised of talented, committed women, each with her unique skills, energy and business experience. Additionally, we have had a roster of speakers to inspire and guide us in both our personal and professional development. And, perhaps most importantly, we have welcomed women month after month, letting them know they are valued.

One of my favorite times during the meeting is when we share the good news about our lives. We've celebrated new jobs, promotions, engagements and the launch of new businesses. As some within our ranks have lost jobs, members have stepped forward to care for one another by sharing resources and words of hope.

We look forward to launching another exciting year of opportunities for women to share their stories, build relationships, and learn from one another.
